(howellcountynews.com) — An Arnold man is jailed after allegedly leading officers on a 120‑mph chase through Texas and Howell counties, ending near Willow Springs city hall and police station. Authorities say they recovered a handgun, drugs including meth and fentanyl, and stolen quarters, and the suspect now faces multiple felony charges with a high bond set. 
• New state laws are taking effect on Friday (griffonnews.com) — Arnold residents are represented in several of the 76 new Missouri laws taking effect Friday, including a bill by Sen. Mary Elizabeth Coleman, R‑Arnold, that reshapes the state's sex offender registry tiers. Other measures tighten drunk‑driving penalties, adjust highway speed limits, expand economic incentives, and change rules around ADA compliance, education, and online age verification.
