• 1 dead, 1 injured after Jefferson County house fire (kmov.com) — A deadly house fire on Jeanette Drive in Jefferson County, just west of Arnold, left an 80-year-old man dead and a 90-year-old woman hospitalized with burns after firefighters rescued them from the home. Multiple area fire protection districts and Rock Township Ambulance assisted, and state and county investigators are now working to determine what caused the blaze.
