Nine of the top ten schools are in the St. Louis or Kansas City metros, underscoring how strongly West County—and Ballwin in particular—competes academically statewide. 
• Missouri's 20 Most Expensive School Districts Ranked (979kickfm.com) — If you live in Ballwin, this new 2026 ranking shows just how pricey access to top schools has become, with both Parkway C-2 and Rockwood R-VI—serving large parts of Ballwin—among Missouri's most expensive districts. The list ties estimated home values to school boundaries, highlighting how West St. Louis County families often pay a premium for public education options.
• Sporting KC vs. St. Louis rivalry match meant a little extra. SKC showed some promise (kansascity.com) — A Major League Soccer rivalry match between Sporting Kansas City and St. Louis City SC had extra meaning for Ballwin native defender Jansen Miller, who started and helped preserve a 1-1 home draw. Miller, a longtime SKC fan drafted in 2025, has now started all four rivalry games, taking pride in St. Louis still never winning on Sporting's home field.
