If your operation created little to no neighborhood impact between August 28, 2022 and now, you’re encouraged to contact the Planning & Development Licensing Office to see if you qualify and learn how to apply.

• Disneyland's Soarin' Across America: 12 U.S. landmarks that made the cut and 12 that got left out (mercurynews.com) — Branson gets a quick but notable spotlight in Disney’s new Soarin’ Across America ride, which flies guests over the Branson Scenic Railway in the Ozark Mountains. The attraction stitches together iconic U.S. landmarks from Florida to California, and the inclusion of Branson helps showcase the area’s scenery to millions of theme park visitors. Locals may enjoy knowing their hometown rails are now part of Disney’s patriotic tour.

• A national from Turkey pleads guilty to encouraging and inducing illegal aliens to reside within the US illegally (irs.gov) — Federal authorities say the owner of Flaming Margaritas restaurants in Branson admitted to hiring workers who were in the U.S. illegally and helping them obtain fraudulent documents. The Turkish national has pleaded guilty and agreed to be deported after sentencing, following an investigation that identified at least 13 unlawfully employed workers.
