• Hannibal police chief announces retirement (wgem.com) — Canton residents should know that their police chief, Tycher Blakely, has resigned, joining a wave of leadership changes across nearby departments in Hannibal and Quincy. Hannibal’s chief is retiring in early June, with an interim chief named while the city searches internally for a permanent replacement, underscoring broader shifts in Tri-State law enforcement leadership.
