• 2 Cape Girardeau women arrested after victim claims she was threatened with a gun (wsiltv.com) — Cape Girardeau police arrested two local women after an early-morning downtown confrontation in which a victim reported being assaulted and threatened as a gun was allegedly cocked inside a purse. Officers say they recovered a loaded handgun, and both women now face multiple felony and misdemeanor charges, with bonds set at $15,000 and $40,000.
