• Project in Downtown Chesterfield moves from multi-family to single-family villas (westnewsmagazine.com) — A major housing project in Downtown Chesterfield has been redesigned from 105 multifamily rentals to 87 larger single-family villas on Lot 3B, with 175 total units planned across two lots. After debate over street layout, parking near a historic cemetery, and traffic alignment on Chesterfield Parkway, the City Council unanimously approved the amended plans, with groundbreaking expected this winter.
   

• Yellow-tinted tap water in West County raises concerns as residents wait for answers (kmov.com) — Chesterfield residents are among many West County families alarmed by suddenly yellow tap water and frustrated by slow communication from Missouri American Water. The company blames recent Missouri River watershed rains, insists the water meets safety standards, and says no boil advisory is needed, but neighbors are still waiting for clearer updates and a timeline for normal water to return.
