Second Home: RedKey Realty Leaders St. Louis Opens Second Location in Chesterfield

St. Louis, MO – RedKey Realty Leaders St. Louis, one of the largest independent real estate agencies in St. Louis, opened a second location at 17107 Chesterfield Airport Road on October 1, 2015. The decision to expand was strategic; the new office will immediately house 12 industry specialists recently recruited from Keller Williams and will serve to strengthen the agency’s presence in West County. The Chesterfield location will work hand-in-hand with RedKey’s main office located at 10333 Clayton Road in Frontenac.

Shawn Kelsey and Kris Kimerle, new construction and relocation specialists; Cathy Federer and Dena Hemminghaus, luxury home experts; and Leah Jensen, MaryBeth Nicely, Marisa Niezing, Paul Strathman, Mark Blum, and Denise LaBarge, all buyer and listing specialists, will occupy RedKey’s Chesterfield office. The office will house 30 agents by the end of 2015, bringing RedKey’s total agent count to 108.

“There are lots of opportunities in West County and RedKey agents were increasingly serving clients in that area,” said Jill Butler, founder and CEO of RedKey Realty Leaders St. Louis. “Then, when we were able to recruit these agent rock stars committed to RedKey’s mission of love for what we do and service for whom we do it, I knew it was time to expand. Not only will RedKey’s Chesterfield location strengthen our presence in West County, but it will also augment our luxury homes division.”

The former Keller Williams agents wanted to stay together and considered joining three real estate agencies. Unanimously, they decided on RedKey. “As realtors we help people find their dream homes; it was time to find a dream home for our team,” said Shawn Kelsey, new RedKey agent and the recruited team’s leader. “After meeting with several companies, our agents voted and unanimously decided to join RedKey. With the addition of these agents and the new location, RedKey projects a $40-$60 million increase in sales volume by the end of 2015 and an increase in $200 million in sales volume by August 2016. According to Butler, the agency is next looking to expand in St. Charles with a third location in 2017.

A formal ribbon cutting will be held at RedKey’s Chesterfield location at a later date to celebrate this strategic milestone.
