A single act of sexual abuse is capable of changing an entire life. Women enter psychotherapy due to relationship issues, anxiety, depression, grief and loss and parenting issues. Most often, these same women have endured some form of abuse within their past.

Sexual abuse can be anything that forces you to join in unwanted attention or sexual contact. This can happen between family members or with strangers. Wherever and whenever sexual abuse occurs it is never the victim's fault. Responsibility always lies with the perpetrator.
