• Ford zero tolerance stance at plants draws questions from a UAW local (bluewaterhealthyliving.com) — Ford’s tougher zero-tolerance discipline and new safety measures are directly affecting thousands of workers at the Kansas City Assembly Plant in Claycomo, where F-150s and Transit vans are built. Local UAW leaders say Ford is unfairly denying “second chances” and have filed a labor complaint, while the company insists it’s simply enforcing rules to protect employee safety.
