• The Ripple Effect: Walker Scottish Rite Clinic's Kid Talk Celebration Gala Returns to Commemorate Nearly Four Decades of Giving Children Their Voice (maryville.edu) — A fall fundraising gala for the Walker Scottish Rite Clinic is set for Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026, at the Missouri Athletic Club in Clayton, 7701 Forsyth Boulevard. Local residents can buy tickets or tables to support free speech-language therapy for young children across the St. Louis region, while enjoying dinner, an open bar, a silent auction, and a program celebrating nearly 40 years of services.
