• Saint Louis Club finances teeter as members weigh $5,000 assessment—or closure (stlmag.com) — A long-standing private club based in downtown Clayton is facing serious financial trouble, asking members for at least $5,000 each to help cover debt on its Clayton space and overdue rent. Membership has dropped sharply since the club moved from its former Forsyth Boulevard location, which is now a Missouri Athletic Club outpost, raising real questions about whether the institution can survive past August.
