• Eldon water system remains under DNR monitoring; boil order could lift Saturday afternoon (krcgtv.com) — Eldon residents remain under a citywide boil order as state officials complete final water tests, with results expected Saturday morning and a possible lift by Saturday afternoon. The issue began with contamination indicators at the Eldon Community Center and nearby restaurants, prompting systemwide chlorination. Families across town are adapting daily routines while the city considers installing permanent chlorination to prevent future problems.
   

• Just 6 Buses Are Taken Out Of Service Lakewide Following School Bus Inspections (krmsradio.com) — School bus inspections across the Lake area found only six buses taken out of service, with Eldon’s district earning an approval rate of at least 80 percent. While School of the Osage and Macks Creek scored perfect marks, Eldon families can see how their district compares to neighboring systems in safety performance.
