• Jefferson County Sheriff's Office has had a busy summer (mymoinfo.com) — Two Fenton men were among the victims in a recent Jefferson County homicide, part of a sharp rise in deadly cases this summer. The sheriff's office has now investigated six homicides in recent weeks and eight so far this year, stretching detectives and prompting extra help from former investigators.
