• WWII soldier's remains return home to Forsyth (ozarksfirst.com) — Forsyth residents will soon be able to honor First Lieutenant Robert P. Aikman, whose remains returned home Thursday after 81 years. An escort brought him from St. Louis to Forsyth, and a funeral service is set for May 22 at 1 p.m. at Community Presbyterian Church, where his parents once worshiped.
   

• Capital City's Fowler to start play in Class 2 boys tennis singles (newstribune.com) — Forsyth tennis fans will note that doubles players Griffin Coen and Ryan Deroo cruised past School of the Osage’s Brady Clark and Blake Harrison 6-1, 6-0 in a Class 1 state consolation match. The story mainly follows Capital City’s Braxton Fowler entering Class 2 singles play at the state tournament in Springfield.
