An October 20 Thanks4Giving Gala in Branson, featuring NFL legend Marcus Allen, will raise funds that stay in Taney and Stone counties to support these services. 
• On This Day in 2013, We Said Goodbye to the Country Singer, Songwriter, Comedian, and 'World's Worst Guitar Picker' (americansongwriter.com) — Forsyth readers may be surprised to learn country comedian and DJ Don Bowman spent his final days in a local nursing home, passing there in 2013.
