• Vehicle catches fire after pursuit (tribuneandtimes.com) — A vehicle pursuit that began near I-49 and Highway 2 in Harrisonville ended northbound in Peculiar, where deputies used a grappler and the suspect’s car caught fire. No one was injured, West Peculiar firefighters extinguished the blaze, and the driver is now in Cass County Jail awaiting formal charges.
