• Foundation doles out first round of grants (myleaderpaper.com) — Jefferson Foundation has awarded nearly $3.9 million in grants countywide, including $10,000 to St. Joseph St. Vincent de Paul in Imperial to help residents with emergency financial needs. From health care and transportation to food pantries and youth programs, dozens of Jefferson County groups are receiving support that can directly benefit Imperial families seeking services or assistance.
