Blue Springs Resident Awarded $5,000 Scholarship to WGU Missouri
Vanessa Meriweather will use the funds to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Business Management
Blue Springs resident Vanessa Meriweather was recently awarded a $5,000 scholarship to WGU Missouri, where she will be pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Meriweather was surprised by WGU Missouri staff and employees of KC Degrees on April 16. Meriweather has been an active participant in the KC Degrees Adult Learner College Completion Initiative since January 2017, working with staff to help prepare her to return to college and complete her bachelor's degree in business. This scholarship will allow her to fulfill that goal.
