Contact: Morgan Said KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas and the Kansas City Health Department today announced a COVID-19 vaccine opportunity for Kansas Citians with tickets to the Garth Brooks concert at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium this Saturday, August 7. All ticketholders who receive the COVID-19 vaccine ahead of the concert through the Kansas City Health Department’s clinic will be entered into a drawing, with the winner +1 receiving a ticket upgrade to premium floor seats. The seat upgrade is sponsored by the City of Kansas City. The Kansas City Health Department’s COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic will run from 3-7 p.m. in the parking lot at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, on Lancer Lane & Chiefs Way. “The best way to rid COVID-19 from our community is to get vaccinated, and this clinic is one more important effort to meet Kansas Citians where they are,” said Mayor Lucas. “Each and every day, we’re working to encourage all who have not yet been vaccinated to consider taking the vaccine to protect themselves, their families, and our community—especially as COVID-19 continues its spread throughout Missouri. Expect more vaccination opportunities at events throughout our City in the coming weeks and months. I thank the Kansas City Chiefs for their partnership in this effort.”
