City Of KC Citizen Participation Plan, RFP Deadlines Extended To Nov. 12
The extension is due to challenges associated with COVID-19 and numerous requests by applicants.

The request for proposal (RFP) deadline for several city-administered housing and community development programs has been extended to noon on Thursday, Nov. 12. Those programs include the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), HOME Investment Partnerships Grant (HOME) and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS Grant (HOPWA).

“Due to the many challenges associated with COVID-19 and numerous requests by applicants, the Neighborhoods and Housing Services Department has extended the deadline,” said Jennifer Tidwell, housing and community development division manager.
The Citizen Participation Plan provides guidelines for applicants and other information on public resources available for a range of housing and community improvements in the city of Kansas City. The plan assesses needs, sets goals and objectives and allocates funds from federal sources for housing and community development purposes.
