Free Tax Preparation Offered by Kansas City Police Department
The Kansas City Police Department will offer tax preparation throughout February and March at four different locations.

KCPD is working with dedicated partners to provide free tax preparation services for community members who could not otherwise afford it. With the help of AmeriCorps, the University of Missouri Extension Office and United Way, the department will offer tax preparation throughout February and March at four different locations.

Taxes will be prepared on a first come, first served basis: there are no appointments. Please bring all documentation needed to file your tax returns. This free service does not include itemized taxes or capital gains and/or losses. If you have these, you should see a paid tax preparer.
