Interview Schedule For KC City Manager Finalists Announced

The interviews, which begin Monday, will include community forum time.

Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas today announced the official interview schedule for the four finalists visiting Kansas City to interview for the City Manager position. Each visit will include an interview with Mayor Lucas and the City Council, a meet-and-greet with civic and community organizations, and an open community forum.

"The City Council and I are looking forward to welcoming each of these highly qualified candidates interviewing for Kansas City Manager and hearing their innovative ideas which will shape our City for decades to come," said Mayor Lucas. "I look forward to introducing these finalists to our community."

Mayor Lucas encourages all Kansas Citians who would like to offer input or pre-submit questions for these City Manager finalists to complete this priorities survey. Additionally, the City will issue a follow-up survey after each finalist’s visit to gather community feedback.

Meetings with Mayor Lucas and the City Council, civic and community organizations, and the community will all be streamed on KCMO Channel 2 and the City’s and Mayor Lucas’s Facebook pages.

9 - 10:30 a.m.—Meet with Mayor Lucas and City Council, City Council Chambers
