The first event is a city-wide tailgate on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. Set up your grill, picnic table, coolers and lawn chairs in your driveway, front yard, or apartment balcony and chow down with your family on your best tailgate fixin’s. Wave at your neighbors as they do the same, from a safe social distance.
Kansas City, home of the Super Bowl LIV Champs, is challenging all other NFL cities to do the same. Enjoy your family tailgate-style dinner at 6:00 p.m. CT, and then watch Round 1 the NFL Draft at 7:00 p.m. Thursday night.

Chiefs Kingdom is the home of tailgating and #KCHearts fans are encouraged to fire up their favorite recipes or pick-up their favorite tailgating take-out meal from a local KC restaurant. Share videos and post photos of your tailgate, and let’s hear those Arrowhead Stadium cheers across the metro.
KC Hearts is a weekly gathering place to bring together Kansas Citians and share our hearts, foster community and spread jubilance from the Heart of America. You can find more information about this week’s tailgate, and future events, as well as suggest future activities at kchearts.com or on the KC Hearts Facebook page.
The City of Kansas City is helping launch KC Hearts, however it is organized by a group of creative community volunteers. Spread love from the Heartland this Thursday!
