Our new survey shows a dramatic increase in resident satisfaction with our elected leaders and how the city communicates with residents. Combined with a separate survey about the city’s response to COVID-19, this shows that KCMO residents approve of our response to the pandemic and our delivery of basic services during this trying time.

The city administers an anonymous survey each fiscal year to a statistically significant random sample of its population to better understand residents’ level of satisfaction or dissatisfaction with city services as well as their priorities for improvement. The surveys are collected via mail, phone and online during four time periods throughout the year. The full results for the prior fiscal year are released each summer.

Full survey results can be found in the Annual Report.
