KC Water Customers Advised Of Wastewater Overflow Near 5816 Walrond Ave.

KC Water responded to a wastewater overflow near 5816 Walrond Avenue at 11:40 a.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2020. It ended at 1:00 p.m. the same day. An investigation found a manhole overflowing at the location. Wastewater surfaced and entered into Town Fork Creek. Cleaning crews opened a debris stoppage 102 feet from manhole restoring normal flow to the collection system. Cleaning crews will flush the creek to dilute the spilled wastewater. Signs have been posted near the site alerting the public of the overflow.
