KCMO Recruiting Contractors For Federally-Funded Repair Program
The Neighborhoods & Housing Services Dept. is recruiting contractors to work on projects for its Housing & Energy Conservation Division.

The city’s Neighborhoods and Housing Services Department (NHSD) is recruiting contractors to work on projects for its Housing and Energy Conservation Division. Specifically, the NHSD is looking for plumbers, electricians, HVAC professionals, roofers, painters and general contractors for HUD-funded minor home repairs in Kansas City, Mo. There are approximately 200 projects each year.

A meeting will be scheduled at a later date, however, contactors interested in working with the city can apply immediately.
“When we do have the meeting, we’ll discuss the various programs and go through the requirements to become a city vendor,” said Roger Stewart, section manager of the housing and energy conservation division.
