Local Man Climbs 42 floors for Grandmother, Daughter
Lung disease impacts us all: Local family affected by emphysema, asthma

Erik Lund‘s family has been directly impacted by lung disease, so he fights for a cure by raising money for the American Lung Association in Kansas & Greater Kansas City through the Fight For Air Climb at One Kansas City Place on February 25.
Lund’s grandmother was a lifetime smoker who fought a long battle with emphysema. He watched her as she struggled with the disease that required her to use supplemental oxygen to breathe. Additionally, Lund’s youngest daughter, Georgia, is just five years old and suffers from asthma. With lung disease, she is more susceptible to chest colds and other illnesses.
