Miller previously served as assistant director, career development at the University of Toledo. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi.

He has an M.Ed. in community counseling and was serving as the associate director of an adolescent treatment facility, focused on career development, when he decided to transition his professional direction to career services.
