Video Shows Man Kicking Cat Like A Football In Missouri

KANSAS CITY, MO — Authorities in Kansas City are searching for a man seen on video kicking a cat like a football field goal attempt. Newsweek reported the disturbing footage shows the man on a Center High School field on May 22, as several unidentified people watched, shouting "field goal" before the man ran up and kicked the cat. As seen in the video (below), the animal flew through the air as witnesses laughed.

Kansas City authorities posted the disturbing video in an effort to find those responsible and file animal cruelty charges.

Animal welfare officials in Kansas City are speaking out, and say authorities don't know the condition of the cat following the May 22 attack, Newsweek reported.
