• Page Proposes Returning Some County Roads To Cities (timesnewspapers.com) — Kirkwood could soon be asked to assume maintenance of several county-controlled roads, including stretches of Adams, Marshall and Ballas, as part of a cost-cutting proposal from St. Louis County Executive Sam Page. City officials say they currently have no intention of taking over these roads and insist any transfer would require formal council consideration, while neighboring municipalities also voice strong concerns about unexpected new expenses.
