• New pedestrian-activated signal hopes to improve walkability and safety on busy corridor of Clayton Road in Ladue (firstalert4.com) — Ladue is installing a new pedestrian-activated HAWK signal on Clayton Road near Dwyer Place to make it safer for students and shoppers to cross the busy corridor. Local business owners say the change will improve walkability to nearby shops and restaurants, especially for kids walking from nearby schools. Construction has begun, with completion expected later this fall.
   

• Volleyball Preview: Losers of Two Straight, Ladue Horton Watkins Tries to Stop the Slide Against Bayless (maxpreps.com) — Ladue Horton Watkins' volleyball team heads on the road Thursday at 5 p.m. to face Bayless, hoping to rebound from a straight-set loss to MICDS and end a two-game skid. Bayless enters strong after a dominant 3-0 win over Crossroads, led by sophomore Makayla Lindsey. The Rams sit at 3-2 and need a reset against a confident opponent.
