The Brentwood Lions are offering two scholarships to deserving high school students that live in Brentwood. You do not have to attend a Brentwood school to qualify but you must be a Brentwood resident.
A $1,500 scholarship will be awarded in the name of Earl Renfroe. Earl was a Lion for 50 years and served as a District Governor in 1964-1965. Earl was a teacher and principal in the Brentwood School District for many years. This scholarship will be given to someone seeking to attend accredited college.
The second scholarship will be for $1,000 in the name of Loftus England. Loft was the father of Lion Eugene Taylor and was very supportive of the Lions Club throughout the years in many ways. This scholarship will be awarded to someone seeking attendance to technical school or working trade.
