Brentwood Middle School Recognized as a National School of Character

Brentwood Middle School Principal, Dr. Julie Sperry, and middle and high school teacher, Mary Lipic, received recognition for being selected as a National School of Character at the National Character Education Conference in Washington D.C.  The school was one of seven selected in the St. Louis area for the honor.  The two Brentwood educators conducted several workshops to help other schools learn about the success of the Brentwood Middle School Program.  Brentwood Middle is the second school in the district to receive the national recognition.  Mark Twain Elementary received the designation as a National School of Character in 2011.
