Primary Responsibilities: Provide accurate and timely information to the Superintendent and Board of Education; develop and monitor the District’s budget; ensure the District’s compliance with state and federal law; communicate to administrators, staff members, and the community regarding the District’s financial affairs.

Qualifications: Five years successful work experience as a CPA or CFO or equivalent required; school district experience preferred. Knowledge of accounting, financial planning, and budget processes, business law, state and federal laws and regulations, bidding procedures required. Skills in supervision, communication, management, and organization required. Ability to work as a team player and with a high degree of accuracy required.

- Develop, analyze, and monitor the District’s budget in all major revenue and expenditure areas
- Develop methods to optimize District revenue
- Develop long-range financial projections
- Manages District property, liability and employee insurance programs
- Supervises, monitors, and directs the District Food Services Program, including the Free and Reduced Lunch Program
Education/Training/Experience: Bachelors degree in accounting required; Masters degree in business administration or accounting or equivalent preferred. CPA preferred.
Terms of Employment: Twelve-month administrative position beginning on February 25, 2013. Benefits include 20 days of vacation, 20 days of sick leave, 11 paid holidays as defined in Board Policy and Board-paid medical, dental, and life insurance.
