Hate Honeysuckle? Volunteers needed to remove this invasive plant.

Volunteers are critical in the effort to save our woodlands from Bush honeysuckle, an extremely invasive and aggressive plant species that is preventing our native Missouri trees and wildflowers from succeeding.  Please join us on Saturday, March 10, for our first volunteer project of the year. If you can’t help out at Laumeier, learn how to rid your yard of honeysuckle and to “grow native” with our new partner in this important habitat restoration, the Missouri Department of Conservation.  They’re offeringPartners for Native Landscaping: a workshop for homeowners. Saturday, March 31, 8am- 4pm at Powder Valley Nature Center (register in advance 314-301-1500)!
