How to Help domestic violence victims

Woman’s Place presents How to Help - A workshop for friends and family members of domestic violence victims

Every 2nd Tuesday of each month, from 6-9pm at Woman’s Place, 7372 Marietta Ave. Maplewood, MO  63143

Provides specific, sometimes unexpected advice that can help make victims safer and potentially save a life.  People who suspect that someone they care about is being abused by their partner often feel scared and powerless.  The workshop highlights how to best support victims, encourage safe choices and identify "Red Flags" of potentially lethal escalation.  Learn coping strategies for how to deal with one's own feelings.  Learn the Do's & Don'ts for addressing victims and addressing perpetrators. To register call Woman’s Place at 314-645-4848.
