Maplewood Library Summer Reading Programs Begin

We have several different programs this year.  There is one that should fit your need. Our yearly reading program for the adults will be May 29---August 17, 2012. Our theme will center around reading for relaxation and enjoyment as well as activities to help you enjoy your summer.Sign-up begins Tuesday, May 29, 2012 and final check-in will be August 17, 2012. The celebration party will be Saturday August 25, 2012.  We will be featuring several programs that deal with relaxation, leisure time activities, and travel.

Library Summer Reading Clubs for Babies, Kids, & Teens  Summer Reading Club for Kids  Children from preschool to 6th grade are encouraged to join the 2012 “Dream Big, Read!” summer reading club for kids. A kick-off party together with Richmond Heights Library on Sat. June 9th with a presentation, “All About Owls”, by the World BirdSanctuary. This summer the Library will again be offering a Parent-Child reading club for families with babies and toddlers. Sign-up for the club begins on June 1st.  Teen Reading Club: Own the Night! Young people in grades 7 – 12 are invited to join a special reading club for teens this summer.
