Metro Transit’s Holiday Live Music Series Continues on Wednesday and Thursday

Metro Transit’s holiday music series wraps up this week with evening rush hour performances on Wednesday, December 19 at the Grand MetroLink Station and the final concert of the season at the Brentwood MetroLink Station on Thursday, December 20.

Metro customers will be treated to a dynamic holiday performance when the Vashon High School Wind and Percussion Troupe performs at the Grand MetroLink Station at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 19). The 30-minute holiday-themed set will feature intricate drumline soloists complimenting a powerful horn section, all framed within the new Scott Avenue Transit Plaza – a perfect setting for live holiday music!

On Thursday (Dec. 20), Metro’s holiday music series ends the year with the vocal group from Bayless High School that kicked off the concert series last month. Bayless Xpression performs at the Brentwood MetroLink Station at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday (Dec. 20). The talented chorus will perform on the westbound platform at the Brentwood MetroLink Station as Metro customers board and exit rush hour trains that evening.

Even after the live music ends, the holidays will continue to be cheerier for thousands of Metro commuters who find themselves on the Holiday Magic Train. The festively decorated MetroLink train will switch back and forth between the Red Line and the Blue Line through December 31. The Holiday Magic Train is a partnership between Metro and the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission.
