New Furniture Store Opening on October 6th

FURNITURE STORE OPENS IN BRENTWOOD

Brentwood, Missouri - The Refind Room, an exciting new furniture store, will be opening on October 6, 2012 in Brentwood, Missouri.  The Refind Room will provide customers high quality furniture that is stylish and unique. It will offer a wide variety of furniture styles, including vintage, mid-century, contemporary and modern, and will display its furniture in room settings so that customers can visualize exactly how the furniture will look in their homes.

The Refind Room is located in the old Brentwood Theater on Brentwood Boulevard, a 2,200 square foot space with lofty ceilings and large picture windows that create an open and airy atmosphere.  Doors and windows are suspended from the ceiling to create the walls of intimate “rooms” which are decorated in a variety of styles that highlight the furniture. There will be a constant influx of fresh merchandise weekly.

The Refind Room is the creation of its owner, Suzanne Woodard, a former Macy’s attorney with a passion for furniture and interior design who saw a need for a store like The Refind Room.  “I want The Refind Room to be a resource for people who want to live in a beautiful, stylish environment but feel overwhelmed by the process of furnishing their spaces.  We tried to take away the biggest obstacles to buying furniture by providing quality furniture that is stylish and affordable and then showing how each piece of furniture can be used in a room.”

Woodard also worked hard to ensure that The Refind Room incorporates its  environmentally friendly mission into its daily practices.  Although most of its furniture is recycled, items such as throw pillows are not.  Yet rather than import pillows from overseas, The Refind Room is using a midwest manufacturer.  In addition, unless requested by the customer, The Refind Room will not use bags to package the items it sells.

The Refind Room will also feature local artists.  Dennis Minner, Jr. is the first artist to be featured at the store.  Miner is an urban explorer, whose photographs of the interiors of abandoned buildings are an exciting compliment to the rooms at The Refind Room.
