Young Friends of Legal Services of Eastern Missouri Holds Fundraising Event at Kakao Chocolate

Young Friends of Legal Services of Eastern Missouri (LSEM)
raised  $540 during a Chocolate and Wine Pairing fundraising event on April 12 at Kakao Chocolate in Maplewood, Mo.

Organized and sponsored by Young Friends Board Member Misty Watson, the gathering represented the first specific fundraising event hosted by the group. The wine
was donated by Husch Blackwell LLP.

Formed in 2010, Young Friends is a dynamic group of young legal professionals under the age of 40. The group came together to support LSEM through pro bono service and to raise awareness of our
organization throughout the legal community in the Greater St. Louis area.  The group plans the “After Ball
Party” following the annual LSEM Justice For All Ball in February as well as other educational and community outreach events and activities.
