To make life a little bit more interesting for the St. Louis Zoo's animals, the zoo's enrichment team has animal enrichment activities throughout the year. Some of the scheduled events for Sunday (weather permitting) are enrichment feeding for rabbits, giant popsicles for sun bears, hard boiled eggs and papier mâché eggs for Komodo dragons and tortoises, enrichment feeding for babirusas and an Easter egg basket for leaf cutter ants. Although admission to the Zoo is free, there are fees for some attractions. There is a $4 fee for admission to the children's zoo, free admission the first hour the zoo is open and it is free for children younger than 2. The $10 Safari pass includes all of the amenities and for this event it includes a complimentary bag of candy while supplies last.
