From sketchbook to final construction, this one-day intensive workshop covers the basics of fashion design. Emily Hemeyer, local artist, will teach you the in’s and out’s of using a sewing machine and surger. With an emphasis on reuse, teens will have an opportunity to develop their own projects from the seam up. All are welcome to bring ideas. No previous sewing skills needed.
This workshop is intended for ages 14 – 17 years.
