What happened to Brentwood's Rose Ave Neighborhood? It was as much of a cultural icon in Brentwood as the Hill is for Italian culture, or the Dutch section of So. St. Louis. Lived in and out of the STL area for so many years--and now a wonderful enclave of culture is replaced with highrise business buildings and parking lots. Just wondering---any historians out there?
