• Bystanders help save man stranded on steep hillside at Creve Coeur Lake Park (ksdk.com) — An injured man was dramatically rescued from a steep hillside at Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park in Maryland Heights after bystanders used a makeshift tourniquet to control heavy bleeding. Multiple area fire protection districts then executed a rope rescue and transported him by UTV to an ambulance and local hospital, highlighting quick community response at a popular local park.
