• MFPD chief honored for installation of baby boxes (callnewspapers.com) — Mehlville Fire Protection District Chief Brian Hendricks has been honored for leading the installation of two Safe Haven Baby Boxes in the district, giving parents a safe, anonymous way to surrender infants. His work not only launched Missouri's first baby box in Mehlville but also helped other communities replicate the life-saving program statewide.
