• Honors College welcomes 2026 cohort of Opportunity Scholars and St. Louis Scholars (umsl.edu) — A Mehlville High School graduate, Mariam Aburas, has been named a 2026 St. Louis Scholar, earning a substantial merit scholarship to attend the University of Missouri–St. Louis. She joins a competitive cohort of first-generation and high-achieving students from across the region who will receive financial support, mentoring, and leadership development through UMSL's Opportunity Scholars and St. Louis Scholars programs.
