• College News: McDonald County natives earn honors in New Hampshire, Southeast Missouri (nwaonline.com) — Crowder College in Neosho recognized nearly 600 students on its Spring 2026 Dean’s List, including many from McDonald County communities like Anderson, Goodman, Noel, and Pineville. The roundup also highlights local students earning Dean’s List honors at Central Methodist University and Missouri State University, giving families plenty of academic achievements to celebrate close to home.

• Corley Memorial Trust awards over $270,000 to 72 nonprofits (fourstateshomepage.com) — Neosho organizations are among 72 nonprofits sharing more than $270,000 from the Corley Memorial Trust, with Neosho Area Habitat for Humanity, Neosho Bright Futures, and Neosho Schools Charitable Foundation all receiving grants. Announced at Southwest Missouri Bank’s community center, the awards continue Bob Corley’s legacy of philanthropy across Joplin, Neosho, Carthage, and surrounding communities, supporting housing, education, health, and youth programs.
