• One man shot in the groin, one man in jail in Vernon County (newstalkkzrg.com) — Police in Nevada are investigating a shooting where an 18-year-old man was accidentally shot in the groin, allegedly by a friend handling a defaced pistol he claims to have found in an alley. The suspect, a Nevada resident, reportedly admitted being under the influence of meth and now faces multiple felony weapons and stolen property charges, held on a $25,000 cash-only bond. 
• Ozarks Healthcare joins Show-Me High Value Network to Strengthen Care Close to Home (ozarkradionews.com) — Nevada residents should know that Nevada Regional Medical Center has joined the new Show-Me High Value Network, a coalition of independent Missouri hospitals working to improve care quality and affordability.
