• Man Sentenced for Causing Death of a Woman in 2025 Traffic Crash (komc.com) — A Nixa man has been sentenced to seven years in prison after a 2025 motorcycle crash that killed a 51-year-old Nixa woman riding as his passenger. Investigators reported signs of alcohol and marijuana use and noted he was not licensed to operate a motorcycle when the bike crashed at a Stone County roundabout.
