FZN Senior Kamden Bynum recently committed to play football at Missouri Baptist University. Bynum was a relative newcomer to the sport of football, having only previously played his freshmen year at Independence High School in Thompson, TN. A senior transfer, Bynum made the most of his one year at FZN, starting for the Panthers at the linebacker position. He helped the Panthers claim their 5th consecutive District title along with a share of the conference crown. Bynum was a key part of a stingy Panther defense that led the league (GAC Central) in fewest points allowed. He collected 25 solo tackles, 5 for a loss, and 11 assists in the fall of 2018. Bynum was also a member of the Panther basketball team.
Missouri Baptist, whose moniker is the Spartans, is a NAIA school that competes as a member of the Mid-States Football Association. Bynum will join former Panther Jacob Triplett (Class 0f 2018) at MOBAP. Another former Panther, Marcus Lowery (Class of 2015), recently wrapped up his 4-year career at MOBAP this past fall.
